Heather

Heather is the founder of Forest Kids, who has 25 years experience in childcare settings, primarily in Little Darlings Creche in South County Dublin. She has attained an N.N.E.B. (DYCA Equivalent) qualification in childcare. She is a specialist in outdoor and backwoods pursuits and has a current qualification in Remote Emergency Care (REC 3) First Aid.

Heather also is Bushcraft Trained level 3. She is also an adult volunteer in a national youth focused outdoor movement. Her motivation for starting Forest Kids is to get children back in the outdoors enjoying fresh air and learning by doing.

Heather is qualified as a Forest School Leader. Using these skills to provide an educational exciting time in the outdoors.

Heather is a trained Leave No Trace trainer and can teach one day Awareness Courses and Training Courses ( 2 days) for those who wish to go on and teach. All accredited.
